To help build the chat bot below that you can hook up to your website OR Facebook Page, without having to code anything, we will be using an easy to use application called Mobile Monkey . Mobile Monkey enables business users ( read non developers) to use chat bots without any of the heavy lifting. You simply create a conversation while giving the user some options and answers to pick from.
We begin by using a feature in Mobile Monkey called ‘quick questions’ to engage with the visitor.
Quick questions make a chat conversation engaging, natural and provides your business with an easy way to capture lead information.
In this case, because we are leveraging Messenger, the information about this visitor will already be known, because Messenger already has their information.
For example, looking at the chat below, when we ask the quick question ” Can I ask for your email address?” instead of the visitor having to type there email address, their email address that is associated with their Facebook login will be shown and all the user has to do is click on it.
Same applies to their phone number. If Facebook has their phone number, it will simply be shown for them to click and confirm.
Lastly, after confirming the visitors email and phone number, we ask another engaging and open ended question “How can we help you?”
What a great way to understand your visitors questions, wants and needs! You’ll have the ability to review these submissions, send it to your CRM and further qualify the leads that seem to be a good fit for the product or service you are offering.
Putting the flow all together…
